What to Expect: Issaquah Patients’ First Visit to iAM Center
If you’ve never had a medical aesthetic treatment before, the hardest part is often just deciding to book the consultation. Our Bellevue clinic is about 20 minutes from Issaquah via I-90, and a first visit typically starts with a conversation, not a treatment — we’ll talk through your concerns, your comfort level, and what (if anything) makes sense to start with. Here’s a general sense of what that process looks like.
Your First Consultation
Expect to talk through your skin history, what’s bothering you, and what you’re hoping to change — nothing is decided before that conversation happens. Many first-time patients start with one of the following, depending on their main concern:
- Botox or Dysport for expression lines
- Dermal fillers for volume loss
- A single chemical peel or custom medical facial as a lower-commitment starting point
If You Decide to Continue
For patients who want a longer-term plan after their first treatment, we may discuss:
- Sculptra for gradual, collagen-based volume rebuilding over several months
- RF Microneedling or PRF for skin texture and resilience over a series of visits
- Kybella for submental fullness, which typically requires more than one session
- BBL laser therapy for sun damage and pigmentation

What Ongoing Care Looks Like
Most treatments aren’t one-and-done. Botox typically needs a repeat visit every 3-4 months, fillers vary by product and area, and skin treatments like microneedling or laser work best as a short series followed by maintenance. We’ll be upfront about the realistic timeline for whatever you choose, rather than letting you guess after the fact.
If Something Else Comes Up
It’s common for patients to come in for an aesthetic concern and end up asking about fatigue, hormone changes, or perimenopause symptoms once they’re already in the room. Our practitioners are trained in hormone health, so that conversation can happen in the same visit if it’s relevant — you don’t need to book separately.
