MICRONEEDLING PRE CARE

• Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanner before treatment. Please reschedule if your skin is sunburned.
• Arrive with clean skin and no makeup, lotion, or sunscreen on the treatment area.
• Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, benzoyl peroxide, and irritating skincare for several days before treatment unless directed otherwise.
• Tell us if you have a history of cold sores, active infection, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or recent isotretinoin use.
• If numbing is planned, please follow the timing and application instructions provided by our office

MICRONEEDLING POST CARE

• Use aftercare products provided to you by iAM center for 7 days following
  your treatment
• Mild redness, sensitivity, and warmth similar to a sunburn may occur for
  24–48 hours
• Do not use any exfoliating products including scrubs, retinol or acids until
  skin has returned to baseline.
• Avoid steam rooms, and saunas or extreme heat for 24 hours
• Avoid strenuous/sweaty exercise for 24 hours after treatment
• Wear sunscreen diligently
• Change pillowcases and avoid dirty towels, hats, or anything that may
  introduce bacteria to the skin for the first 24–48 hours.
• Avoid touching, picking, or scratching the treated area while healing
• Contact iAM Center with any questions or concerns in the treatment area
